Waters Live at the Troubadour

I love Waters. They’re a superb band based out of San Francisco that had one of my favorite albums of 2015 in What’s Real. And they’re just super-cool, as I learned having worked with them on some really cool projects last year (which you can check out here and here).

So when I saw they were playing a headlining show at the Troubadour over the weekend, I jumped at the chance to go and cover it.

Waters didn’t disappoint, with a ton of irrepressible energy over the course of the evening. Some of my highlights were “Moms and Dads,” “What’s Real” and, of course, their cover of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.” That last one was a surprise.
