Every summer, I really looked forward to the NFL Draft. Of course, the team was getting an exciting influx of young talent, but the most fun for me was the ability to tell their stories throughout the offseason.

Here’s an example of one of the in-depth features I wrote for one of the Ravens’ picks. David Reed was a fifth-round wideout from the University of Utah, but his journey to the NFL was long and arduous. I dug deep to interview his resilient mother and some coaches along the way to get the full picture.
