Truly a fun video shoot with skate legend Tony Alva for his signature “White Lotus” Sonoran acoustic guitar.

For this project, I storyboarded out the entire video shoot with the goal of showcasing Tony in his element. Working directly with the Hall of Famer, we landed on a surf/skate package that saw me and my video crew hitting Malibu at 5 a.m. to capture Tony catching prime waves.

After that, we went to a friend’s house to film Tony dropping in an empty pool. I interviewed him on the beach as the sun rose and on the side of the pool as the sun set. All in all, it was a successful piece that highlighted Tony’s passions and signature guitar.
