With a new coach, GM and lots of new players, the Panthers’ 2024 training camp was met with lots of excitement.

I wanted to capitalize on the idea that fans would be eager to consume any and all training camp content, so I linked up an API that ensured that all content was supremely visible.

First, I integrated an Instagram-like Stories function to the homepage of the app experience. This allowed me to showcase live highlights from the field and provide a real-time look at what was happening on the field. It also was set up to include purchase buttons for tickets.

Second, I set up a secondary screen that led to a daily rundown of content, featuring a photo from that day’s practice, a brief rundown from one of the Panthers’ team reporters, and links to the daily feature, notebook, press conference videos and photo gallery. This gave fans the opportunity to check back on each day of camp to see what happened in the moment.

I also included buttons to an FAQ, merch, preseason tickets, a scrollable map and more.
